What is a fanlisting?
"A fanlisting is simply an online list of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created
by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join." - Quoted from TheFanlistings.org
And the point of this fanlisting is...
This fanlisting is for the love/like of Norton AntiVirus. Norton AntiVirus is a virus protection program, which I think additionally also
protects your computer against spyware/adware. It can do full system scans of your computer; detect, block viruses and trojans; and deny unknown
hosts or sources that might be trying to connect with your computer. With LiveUpdate running alongside with it, Norton AntiVirus is kept
up-to-date with the latest virus definitions and support, to better protect your computer.
You can learn more about Norton AntiVirus from the people/company that developed the program: Symantec.COM.
Norton's a lifesaver???
The fanlisting was named "Lifesaver" from its original owner: Inge.
So, credit and a big 'thanks' to Inge for the title, which I think fits nicely with the listing's dedication to Norton AntiVirus. In terms of
your computer's "life," Norton AntiVirus works as a great "savior" against the many things that could be trying to harm your computer via the
internet. And if there is something that might be wrong or out-dated (such as if you haven't done a virus scan, recently), Norton quickly
notifies you and will rectify such things.
Giving your computer a better chance of lasting longer, I think many of us would say it's a lifesaver to us, too.
What do I think of Norton?
Well, obviously since I have this fanlisting, I love the Norton AntiVirus program. I'll admit that I've only used a couple of other virus
protection programs aside from Norton (like McAfee). But I still say Norton's one of the best out there; I've been using it for several years
along my brother and sister, who also use it on their own computers. It's been wonderful to us. I always get concerned when I see a
pop-up from Norton, notifying me of a suspicious file or download that was trying to get into my computer. So, I am happy that I
can breath in relief that Norton blocked that potentially dangerous file.
Having the option of making scheduled, full system scans are wonderful, too. I love that Norton will run them automatically according to the schedule I make, so I don't have to hassle with it myself. It's easy on my part, and it reassures me that my computer is still in good shape and running great.
This fanlisting is not affiliated, in any way, with the developers of Norton AntiVirus, and is a non-profit listing for people who love the program. Images not of my own belong to their respectful, copyright owners.
